ember & ash was started in February 2021 by Rebecca & Chris we took over the business formally called Zen hair design, and transformed the salon from a rundown no appointment based salon into a modern salon with professional haircare options that offer a full haircare experience. We are continuing to invest in the salon and have just competed a new fit out of workstations and chairs to create a great experience for our clientele. 

Our focus is delivering a welcoming, relaxed, salon experience for every client. We do this by offering in depth consultations to provide solutions that deliver on what the clients hair needs & wants, while also insuring they educated on how to look after there hair once they leave the salon. We are located in the heart of Foxton across from new world @ 2 Whyte Street.

  

We are looking for a talented hairdresser, If you're passionate about creating beautiful hair & providing excellent customer service and love working with people, we want to hear from you. You will earn an hourly wage with commission on top, we want you to achieve your financial goals and will coach you to be your best. 

Greeting clients, Booking appointments, Answering phone calls, All aspects of hair cutting techniques, Colouring & treatments, Keeping the salon clean, Stock ordering, Recording client data, Offering Loreal Haircare options, Recording clients hair transformation's, Customer consultations, Up skilling with education in & outside the salon, Hitting targets, Pre quoting salon services, Rebooking, Following in salon systems & policies.

• 30 hours per week minimum
• Hour wage $25 - $28 depending on experience 
• Weekly sales commission  20 % - 30 % on achievable targets 
• Commission on Haircare sales 20 %
